Figuring out if it's possible to be even slightly domestic after so many years of not having to be.

Easter!
We had great fun this Easter with lots of family, coloring eggs, hunting for candy, seeing the Easter bunny, and remebering why we celebrate Easter. Paige and Maddie had a great time at the egghunt that my parents have at their house every year and they got a TON of candy that of course came home with us and is now being consumed by Paul and myself - thanks.

Late Night Cravings and the Best Husband Ever!!
I might have the best husband around. I was just sitting on the couch thinking how good cheese on a wheat thin would be plus maybe some cheddar and sour cream chips. I give Paul "the look" and ask him to run up to the store for me and without hesitation or complaint he jumps right up and heads straight to the store. It doesn't matter what time it is day or night Paul will run and get any kind of food that I have a craving for - and he never complains just says "I'll be right back". He's really the best!

Doctor Day!!
It was check-up day for baby. Everything is great and normal and heartbeat is still going strong! Still don't know if it's a boy or a girl - but we're pretty sure it'll be another little girl since that's what we're so good at making ;) After our appointment I had to head over and get a big ol' vile of blood drawn for testing that goes on between 15 and 18 weeks. Thank god I got a person who knew what they were doing when taking my blood because I'm about the biggest baby when it comes to needles. Something I guess I forgot about when the whole - I want another baby thing came up - needles are a huge part of the process. I'm just glad everything seems to be going great and I haven't gained too much weight yet - but we'll see how that works out :) Early April is our next appointment so I'll have an update then!

TAKS, Oh the Drama.....
Poor Paige has been a bundle of nerves for the last week and it's all due to TAKS - which is a test of Assessment of Knowledge and Skill. If you don't pass then you don't get to move on to the next grade and Paige is so freaked out. So we've been giving her lots of encouragement and reassurement. We know she'll do great - it's just getting her to know that too. She got her brain food this morning and ran into the school with a big smile on her face while blowing me lots of kisses and waving the whole time! I'm so glad I have not only a smart girl but a sweet one too! Keep her in your thoughts today as she takes her test!
